User Manual: Assigning Timesheet for Task

Step 1: Log In to Your Account

Enter your username and password on the login screen, then click the login button. This will take you to your home page.

Step 2: Navigate to the Projects Tab

From the homepage, locate and click on the Projects tab in the left sidebar. This section includes all project-related shortcuts. Among these are links to both Task and Timesheet modules.

Step 3: Search and Locate the Timesheet shortcut

Scroll through the Projects section until you find the Timesheet shortcut. Click on it to access the list view of all created and existing timesheets. This page allows you to manage and track working hours for different tasks.

Step 4: Add a Timesheet

To begin logging a new timesheet, click the Add Timesheet button located in the upper-right corner of the screen. A new form will appear where you can input essential details like the employee, activity type, and timings. At this point, do not start the timer or save the form yet.

Step 5: Allocating Timesheet to Task

Scroll down within the Timesheet form to locate the Time Logs table. Click the pencil (edit) icon to access and edit the full log entry. In this section, you will assign the specific task that this timesheet is intended to track.

Step 6: Save the Timesheet

Once the appropriate task has been assigned, save the timesheet. This action will redirect you back to the timesheet overview. You may now proceed with working on the assigned task.

Step 7: Complete and Submit the timesheet

After completing your task, return to the timesheet entry and click the Resume Timer to record your actual working duration. Once the time has been logged, click the Complete button and then submit the timesheet. You can confirm a successful submission by navigating to the task record and checking the Dependencies tab to see if the timesheet is reflected.
